Who this policy covers
This Privacy Policy applies to personal information handled by Averr Studios through averrstudios.com, including its enquiry forms and scheduling features. Averr Studios is operated by Prachets Upadhyay in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
This policy does not govern websites or services operated independently by third parties.
Information we collect
When you contact us, we may collect the information you choose to provide, including:
- Your name.
- Email address and phone number.
- The service or project type you are interested in.
- Your message, business requirements, preferred meeting time, and other details you include.
- Booking information when you schedule a call.
Our hosting and security providers may also process limited technical information—such as IP address, browser type, device information, request time, and diagnostic logs—to deliver and protect the website.
How we use information
We use personal information only for reasonably expected business purposes:
- Reviewing and responding to your enquiry.
- Assessing whether Averr Studios can help with your project.
- Scheduling, confirming, rescheduling, and conducting meetings.
- Preparing proposals or taking steps you request before entering a business relationship.
- Maintaining enquiry records, preventing abuse, troubleshooting, and protecting the website.
- Meeting legal, accounting, or regulatory obligations.
We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not use enquiry information for unrelated advertising.
Consent and your choices
By voluntarily submitting an enquiry or booking request, you consent to the collection, use, and limited disclosure of the information needed to respond and provide the requested service. You may choose not to provide optional information, although this can limit our ability to respond.
You may withdraw consent for future use, subject to legal or contractual restrictions, by contacting us. Withdrawal does not invalidate processing that occurred before your request.
Service providers and transfers
We may use carefully selected providers to operate the website and requested communication, including website hosting and database infrastructure, email-delivery services such as Resend, and scheduling services such as Cal.com when enabled.
These providers receive only the information needed to perform their services. Some may process or store information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to local laws and lawful access requests.
Cookies and local storage
The current website does not use advertising cookies. It uses limited browser session storage to remember whether you dismissed or used the enquiry prompt, so the prompt does not repeatedly interrupt the same visit.
Our infrastructure may use strictly necessary security and delivery technologies. If analytics or non-essential tracking is introduced later, this policy and any required consent controls will be updated before use.
Retention and deletion
Enquiry information is retained only as long as reasonably needed to respond, evaluate a potential project, maintain business records, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. Enquiries that do not become active client relationships are generally reviewed for deletion within 24 months of the last meaningful interaction.
Client and transaction records may be retained longer where required for contractual, tax, accounting, security, or legal purposes. Information is deleted or de-identified when it is no longer required.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including access restrictions, managed hosting, encrypted network transmission, and limited provider access.
No internet system is completely secure. Please do not submit passwords, payment-card details, health information, government identifiers, or other highly sensitive information through the general enquiry form.
Your privacy rights
You may ask whether we hold personal information about you and request access, correction, or deletion, subject to applicable exceptions. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
You may also raise a question or complaint about our privacy practices. We will review and respond within a reasonable period.
Updates and contact
We may update this policy when the website, providers, or legal requirements change. Material changes will be reflected here with a revised effective date.
